This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity based primarily in a rising global metropolitan city overseas, with periodic remote work from New York City when stateside. POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Program Manager will play a pivotal role in guiding and implementing international philanthropic initiatives and strategic partnerships on behalf of the foundation. This individual will collaborate closely with executive leadership, oversee cross-border projects, and ensure initiatives are executed with excellence and discretion.
This exciting position offers the opportunity to live and work abroad for most of the year while maintaining engagement with U.S.-based leadership and operations. Ideal candidates are adaptable, strategic, and thrive in globally oriented environments that value innovation, professionalism, and purpose-driven execution. PERKS:
  • Opportunity to live and work abroad in a thriving global hub.
  • Remote flexibility when in the U.S. (New York City–based operations).
  • Collaboration with a highly accomplished international team of senior leaders.
  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive global benefits.
  • Professional growth and advancement within a visionary foundation network.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of global grantmaking initiatives that drive measurable outcomes and lasting impact.
  • Build and steward partnerships with foundations, NGOs, social enterprises, and ecosystem partners across emerging markets.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the Managing Director and leadership team, refining and advancing the foundation’s philanthropic vision.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of grants and investments, including due diligence, funding recommendations, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Develop frameworks, metrics, and systems to evaluate program success and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Represent the foundation with professionalism and cultural fluency in international settings, cultivating strong external relationships.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrated success leading complex philanthropic or global partnership initiatives with measurable results.
  • Proven ability to navigate diverse cultural and business environments with diplomacy and sensitivity.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities; effective across senior leadership and global stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and highly organized; thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven environments.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This remarkable opportunity offers a highly competitive annual salary ranging from $240,000 – $300,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
