Are you a compassionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities? Join our team as a Weekend Program Supervisor and play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the people we serve.

In this impactful leadership position, you'll oversee weekend operations across our Community Living and Residential Services programs, provide guidance and support to direct care staff, respond to operational needs, and help create meaningful, person-centered experiences for our Members.

This is more than a supervisory roleit's an opportunity to lead with purpose, empower dedicated staff, and make a lasting difference in the lives of others.

Position 1: Saturday & Sunday; 7:00AM - 3:00PM

Position 2: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; 3:00PM - 11:00PM

Salary Range: $28.00 - $29.00 per hour

The Weekend Supervisor is responsible for providing operational oversight, leadership, quality assurance, and staff support for Community Living Services and Residential Services during weekends, holidays, and other designated coverage periods. This position serves as the primary management representative for all weekend operations and is responsible for ensuring continuity of services, Member health and safety, regulatory compliance, staffing coverage, and implementation of person-centered supports.

The Weekend Program Supervisor provides coaching, training, and supervision to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Life Skills Instructors (LSIs), Residential Counselors, and other direct support staff. The position serves as the primary on-call supervisor during assigned shifts and responds to Member emergencies, staffing shortages, incidents, and operational concerns across assigned programs.

This position is expected to work collaboratively with weekday supervisors and managers to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care while promoting high-quality services and positive outcomes for individuals served.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

Weekend Operations Management

  1. Serve as the designated management representative for all Community Living Services and Residential Services operations during assigned weekend shifts.
  2. Provide overall operational oversight for Supported Living Services, Independent Living Services, Community Living Services, ICF/DD-H facilities, and Community Care Facilities.
  3. Monitor service delivery to ensure Members receive supports consistent with their Individual Program Plans (IPPs), Individual Service Plans (ISPs), and health care plans.
  4. Ensure compliance with DDS, Title 17, Community Care Licensing, ICF regulations, HCBS requirements, and agency policies.
  5. Conduct routine visits to residential homes and community-based service locations.
  6. Monitor program quality, Member engagement, staff performance, and overall service effectiveness.

On-Call Responsibilities

  1. Serve as the primary on-call supervisor during assigned coverage periods.
  2. Respond to staff call-offs, Member emergencies, behavioral incidents, medical concerns, and operational issues.
  3. Provide guidance and direction to staff regarding Member care, emergency procedures, and service delivery concerns.
  4. Coordinate emergency staffing coverage as needed.
  5. Ensure timely escalation of significant incidents to agency leadership.
  6. Participate in emergency response activities and crisis management situations.

Staff Supervision, Training, and Support

  1. Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to Direct Support Professionals, Life Skills Instructors, Residential Counselors, and Lead Staff.
  2. Conduct on-the-job training and competency development for newly hired and existing staff.
  3. Monitor implementation of Member support plans and provide corrective instruction when necessary.
  4. Reinforce agency policies, procedures, Member rights, health and safety practices, and person-centered service delivery.
  5. Identify staff training needs and communicate recommendations to program leadership.
  6. Support staff development through observation, feedback, and performance coaching.

Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance

  1. Conduct quality assurance reviews of program operations, documentation, medication administration records and service delivery practices.
  2. Monitor compliance with staffing ratios and Member supervision requirements.
  3. Ensure Member rights are protected and implemented consistently.
  4. Identify deficiencies, trends, or areas requiring corrective action.
  5. Provide recommendations for service improvements and risk reduction strategies.
  6. Assist with preparation for licensing inspections, DDS reviews, and quality assurance audits.

Staffing Coverage and Direct Support

  1. Assist with maintaining adequate staffing levels across all assigned programs.
  2. Fill open shifts as necessary to ensure continuity of services and Member safety.
  3. Provide direct support services when operational needs require supervisory coverage.
  4. Assist staff in implementing Member support plans, behavioral interventions, and community integration activities.
  5. Ensure safe transportation and community participation activities occur as scheduled.

Incident Management and Risk Mitigation

  1. Respond to and investigate Member incidents, injuries, medication errors, behavioral crises, and unusual occurrences.
  2. Ensure timely completion of required incident reports and documentation.
  3. Assist with Special Incident Reporting (SIR) requirements.
  4. Monitor implementation of risk mitigation plans.
  5. Ensure appropriate follow-up occurs following incidents or emergencies.

Communication and Reporting

  1. Maintain ongoing communication with agency leadership regarding significant operational issues.
  2. Prepare and submit comprehensive post-shift reports summarizing:
    • Staffing issues and coverage provided
    • Member incidents and emergencies
    • Health and safety concerns
    • Quality assurance findings
    • Follow-up actions required
    • Regulatory or compliance concerns
  3. Ensure smooth transition of information to weekday supervisors and management teams.
  4. Participate in management meetings and leadership discussions as assigned.
