UnidosUS is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that serves as the nation's largest Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization. Since 1968, we have built a stronger America by creating opportunities for Latinos and breaking down barriers to expand economic and social progress for all. UnidosUS partners with an Affiliate Network of nearly 300 community-based organizations across the United States and Puerto Rico.

UnidosUS seeks a Program Coordinator, Health to support coordination of partnerships between UnidosUS and its Affiliate and partner sites in Health efforts including programmatic implementation and dissemination, and to lead administration and programmatic coordination within the Health Programs team, such as place-based hubs and a national coordinated Community of Practice.

UnidosUS Health seeks to advance the physical, social and emotional well-being of Latino communities nationwide. Through deep partnerships with community-based organizations (CBO), Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), policy leaders, and advocates, we uplift community voice, scale local solutions and implement culturally responsive practices. By convening stakeholders, supporting grassroots leadership and informing equitable policy change, we strive to ensure Latino families and children can live healthy, thriving lives.

Location: This is a hybrid position based in Washington, DC. In accordance with UnidosUS policy, employees are expected to work onsite two days per week, with Tuesdays designated as a common in-office day. Additional in-office days may be required as needed.

This is a full-time temporary non-exempt position expected to run through September 30, 2027.

Salary: $63,000-66,300

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate logistics for both in-person and virtual grant related events and meetings.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across initiatives, including scheduling, note-taking, tracking action items, and managing shared documents.
  • Support the development and maintenance of an annual schedule of program activities. Assist in drafting and managing grant-related documents (e.g. contracts, amendments, data-sharing agreements), coordinating with grantees and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized records and support document management across platforms such as SharePoint, Quickbase, and Monday.com, and other databases.
  • Support program implementation by assisting with coordination needs related to content development, curriculum implementation, data collection, and evaluation processes.
  • Support the UnidosUS Health team in providing guidance and technical assistance to program sites to strengthen program models, delivery, and outcomes.
  • Process invoices, reimbursements, and payments through Concur, ensuring timely and accurate submission and follow-up.
  • Support collaboration and alignment with departments across the organization including, but limited to the Program Management Office, Policy and Advocacy teams, Affiliate Engagement, and Marketing and Communications teams on program deliverables
  • Conduct desk research to inform programmatic efforts, planning, or curriculum / health content development.
  • Support the planning delivery, and follow up training, webinars, and learning sessions for grantees and partners.
  • Support UnidosUS staff, program Affiliates, partners, and evaluators with program evaluation and data collection efforts.
  • Support dissemination of culturally responsive public and community health education and program information, announcements, materials, and tools.
  • Provide logistical and on-site support for key events, including the Health Summit, subgrantee convenings, and the UnidosUS Annual Conferences and events.
  • Provide support in resource development and funding activities, including administrative support for funder proposals and reports.
  • Contribute to the development of written internal and external reports, updates, materials, and other necessary communications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university, or the equivalent relevant combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Minimum of (3) years of relevant experience in an administrative, coordination, or program support role, preferably in the nonprofit, community health engagement, nutrition and food security or health care field.
  • Experience coordinating logistics for meetings, events, or convenings (virtual and/or in-person).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage administrative processes, including scheduling, document management, and tracking tasks or deliverables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Zoom.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also managing tasks independently.
  • Experience working with people of diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Flexibility for occasional travel estimated at 10%.
  • Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of the Latino community.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, health care administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a community-based organization, federally qualified health centers, or national nonprofit intermediary.
  • Experience with Monday.com, QuickBase, Concur, or other database systems.
  • Familiarity with Latino nonprofit organizations.
  • Fluency in Spanish (verbal and written).
