Program Coordinator II

We are seeking a Program Coordinator II who is motivated to help individuals and families navigate life's challenges and achieve long-term wellness. This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health (OMH), SC State Health Campus 400 Otarre Parkway Cayce, SC 29033. In this position, you will provide oversight of the First Episode Psychosis (FEP) / Navigate Program to ensure fidelity to the model. Offer support to staff who provide consultation for intellectual disabilities and mental health services. Provide administrative support for grant efforts to include the Duke Endowment Grant for Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy. Assist the Child, Adolescent and Families (CAF) Director in the day-to-day operations and communications and linkage with the Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (OIDD) and the Office of Substance Use Services (OSUS). Identify relevant training for staff and coordinates attendance.

Responsibilities for the Program Coordinator II (First Episode Psychosis (FEP) / Navigate Program) include:

  • Develop standardized operational procedures for the First Episode Psychosis (FEP)/Navigate Program and revise as needed.
  • Develop a relationship with FEP/Navigate staff, conduct site visits to monitor fidelity, and assist in statewide expansion efforts.
  • Establish a relationship with OIDD and OSUS offices, notify staff of opportunities for cross training, and assist in the coordination of training.
  • Communicate with center staff providing consultation for intellectual disabilities and mental health services, provide support, and conduct site visits to establish relationships.
  • Provide support for grant efforts to include identifying grant opportunities, assistance with reporting, and project planning.
  • Establish relationships with OIDD and OSUS offices, shares relevant cross-training information with CAF.
  • Maintain knowledge of statewide OMH programs, operations, and policies and procedures.
