HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

The Engineering Program Manager is a key member of the Global Engineering Leadership team responsible for managing the corporate capital budget, manufacturing network optimization, and execution of key strategic manufacturing initiatives or projects.

THE DETAILS

  • Lead enterprise capital management activities, including annual CapEx planning, business case development, financial and strategic review of requests, executive presentations, and ongoing tracking of capital effectiveness and project execution.
  • Optimize the manufacturing network by analyzing multi-site capacity, tooling, equipment, and sourcing strategies; developing data-driven recommendations; and leading change management and execution of cross-site initiatives aligned with company strategy.
  • Drive execution of enterprise manufacturing initiatives by directly leading critical projects and partnering closely with project managers across the organization to guide delivery, remove barriers, and ensure successful outcomes, including global tooling and equipment transfers, milestone achievement, risk management, stakeholder communication, and post‑project lessons learned.
  • Serve as a key communicator and subject-matter resource across the organization by translating technical concepts for diverse audiences, preparing executive-level reports and presentations, maintaining process documentation, and providing guidance or training to colleagues.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline required; MBA preferred, with 10+ years of experience in manufacturing environments and 4+ years of project or program management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives in a global manufacturing environment, including collaboration across cultures, time zones, and functions; experience supporting Product Line Management, NPD, or Marketing is a plus.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and financial acumen with demonstrated ability to make sound decisions, manage competing priorities, solve complex problems, and drive projects through to completion without direct authority.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences, including effective communication and presentation to senior leadership and executive‑level stakeholders; proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/data management systems (SAP preferred), with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and business systems.
