The Springs at Greer Gardens is offering a
Safety Program Development Internship for a current student or graduating senior who is interested in learning how proactive safety education supports high-quality care and sustainable operations in senior living. This project-based internship focuses on
enhancing and organizing existing safety practices to support new employees as they onboard into key roles.
You’ll work alongside community and operational leaders to review current safety education, observe workflows, and help design a structured onboarding safety framework that reinforces safe work practices across departments.
What You’ll Do
Review existing onboarding and safety training materials across departments
Analyze safety reports and trends with a focus on early employment and onboarding periods
Identify opportunities to strengthen safety education for new team members
Learn the process to develop a structured onboarding safety framework, including department-specific considerations
Collaborate with leaders in Culinary Services, Health Services, and Plant Operations
Help document and present recommended enhancements to community leadership
What You’ll Learn
