General Job Information
Job Summary
This position is in the Department of For-Hire Vehicles (DFHV), Office of the Director. This position will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of projects related to the effective operations and administration of the mission of the agency.
Duties and Responsibilities
Gathers data and information to analyze and evaluate (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of agency program operations in meeting established goals and objectives identities area of improvement. Prepares and organizes program reports, develops program requirements, Standard Operating Procedures and other necessary documentation and duties for program support and analysis.
Initiates and conducts a variety of special projects and studies requiring the application of analytical principles in the preparation of interpretive statistical and basic information for use and evaluation of agency programs. Recommends the establishment of new and / or revised policies, procedures and other documentation as the need arises. Makes recommendations to supervisors where necessary to get programs in compliance. Reviews legislation and ensures that programs are in compliance with the DC and Federal Laws and Regulations.
Qualifications and Education
Specialized Experience : Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the position and has equipped the individual with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, at least one (1) year of specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression.
