Program Manager

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple large-scale IT programs concurrently, ensuring seamless coordination across diverse IT and business departments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Program Leadership:
  • Lead and manage large IT programs, aligning them with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manages technology projects or multiple technical workstreams within a broader project or program.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Contributes expertise to major project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
  • Provides insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Serves as a trusted advisor to ensure strategies are aligned with the overall company strategy and market conditions.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:
  • Coordinate with multiple IT and business departments to conduct requirements sessions.
  • Facilitate regular status sessions, providing transparent updates to stakeholders.
  • Communicates project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships. Proactively fosters communication between internal and external project stakeholders. Influences key decisions across stakeholder groups.

Implementation Management:

  • Drive the implementation phase, collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful project delivery.
  • Utilize a strong IT background to comprehend proposed solutions and shape them effectively.
  • Solution Shaping:
  • Ask relevant questions to understand and refine proposed IT solutions.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation:
  • Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates risks and any related issues on technology projects. Communicates solutions on key issues or projects to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate
  • Address all issues promptly to maintain project momentum and success.

Qualifications

  • Utilize strong storytelling skills to define and articulate business use case requirements and value proposition throughout the project lifecycle.
