Job description

Program Manager

Program Manager responsibilities include managing department project management work with multiple business partners and Clients Digital sponsors to lead the creation of the program structure, define project charters/scope. Initial project management planning sessions for complex projects, responsible for program execution, programs risks and financials. Communicate program status to stakeholders as well as mentor project managers on methodology, escalation, risk mitigation, and issue resolution. Understand and explain all program costs, establish capital projects; RFI and Monthly reporting, review and report on financial status, maintain division scorecard, timesheet setup and reminders, coordinate management of multiple related projects directed toward strategic business and organizational objectives partner with BU Partner for delivery of business outcome, ensure strategic alignment of all project work to an approved program, drive programs success and BU Partner and Sponsor satisfaction through program leadership and accountability, assist project sponsors to define, track and initiate projects aligned to programs, resolve conflicts and manage program risks and escalate as appropriate, adhere to a standard methodology and quality processes, mentor project managers, well documented program scope documents highlighting deliverables and value creation, regular stakeholder meetings to set realistic expectations, well managed issue escalations, programs managed to approved plan, updated deployment glide-paths, value creation and interdependencies, closing document indicating stakeholders satisfaction and the extent to which deliverables were accomplished.

Technical skills required: 8-10 years experience in Program and Project Management, PMI/PMP certification.

Education requirement: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Information technology.
