Job Description

Job Title: Financial Analyst


Job Type: Full-time or Part-time, Contract


Location: Remote


Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Analyze complex financial data to identify key trends and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  2. Lead the evaluation of embedded finance opportunities and contribute to advisory on investment strategies.
  3. Develop predictive financial models and dynamic visualizations using up-to-date analytics platforms.
  4. Conduct thorough market and industry research, synthesizing information from diverse sources to inform business recommendations.
  5. Communicate findings and strategic recommendations clearly in both written reports and verbal presentations to stakeholders.
  6. Stay ahead of the latest trends in the Asian economy, embedded finance, and digital financial solutions.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical results into business outcomes.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  2. Professional certification (CFA, CIIA, CMA) or proven experience as a financial analyst in a leading finance institution.
  3. Strong proficiency in financial data analysis, predictive analytics, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Python or R).
  4. Demonstrated experience in investment strategy and advisory, particularly within embedded finance contexts.
  5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and clarity.
  6. Advanced online research capabilities and ability to synthesize diverse financial information rapidly.
  7. Experience working in or with Asia, with a solid understanding of regional financial markets and economic drivers.


Preferred Qualifications

  1. Previous experience at an MBB (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) firm or a major financial institution.
  2. Familiarity with digital finance platforms and emerging fintech trends in the Asian market.
  3. Based in Asia, or extensive prior exposure to the Asian economic landscape.
