Job Summary:

This role involves translating complex tax laws into actionable requirements for tax software development. You will be responsible for ensuring software compliance with regulations, validating tax scenarios for accuracy, and analyzing tax data to identify risks and customer impact. The position requires a strong understanding of tax principles and the ability to articulate technical needs for software engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Convert tax legislation into clear software development requirements.
• Develop and implement business rules for tax compliance.
• Validate the accuracy and completeness of tax calculations and scenarios.
• Analyze tax data to assess user impact and manage risk.
• Communicate tax requirements effectively to technical teams.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong understanding of federal and state taxation.
• Proficient in business analysis and requirements documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Industry Experience:

This role requires experience with income tax preparation or analysis, with a strong preference for individuals who have previously utilized tax preparation software extensively.
