CNC Programmer
Location: Simi Valley, CA
Pay: $33.00 – $45.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire | 1st & 2nd Shift Available
A growing and profitable aerospace manufacturer in Simi Valley is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work in a stable, high-performance environment with strong long-term potential.
Develop and maintain CNC programs to support production requirements
Review blueprints and engineering plans to determine machining operations
Optimize programs for efficiency, cycle time reduction, and quality improvement
Design tooling and fixtures to support manufacturing processes
Troubleshoot machining and part issues
Create setup sheets and support shop floor operations
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma)
5+ years of CNC programming experience in aerospace or precision machining
Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and fixture design
Experience with MasterCam and SolidWorks (required)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Familiarity with inspection methods and quality standards (AS9100 preferred)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aeronautical, Industrial, or Materials Engineering (Preferred)
