Job description

CNC Programmer
Location: Simi Valley, CA
Pay: $33.00 – $45.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire | 1st & 2nd Shift Available

A growing and profitable aerospace manufacturer in Simi Valley is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work in a stable, high-performance environment with strong long-term potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain CNC programs to support production requirements

  • Review blueprints and engineering plans to determine machining operations

  • Optimize programs for efficiency, cycle time reduction, and quality improvement

  • Design tooling and fixtures to support manufacturing processes

  • Troubleshoot machining and part issues

  • Create setup sheets and support shop floor operations

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of CNC programming experience in aerospace or precision machining

  • Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and fixture design

  • Experience with MasterCam and SolidWorks (required)

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

  • Familiarity with inspection methods and quality standards (AS9100 preferred)

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma (preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aeronautical, Industrial, or Materials Engineering (Preferred)
