  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time
  • Location: Miami, Florida (Onsite).
  • Project Scope: High-end residential and commercial construction.
  • Ideal Certifications but not mandatory: Up-to-date CPR/AED certificate and 30-hour OSHA training.

The Opportunity

You will take the helm of fast-paced, design-focused construction projects for an elite general contractor in Miami. This role offers the unique chance to drive sophisticated, high-end builds while managing tight, highly efficient field operations. You will have a direct hand in shaping spectacular architecture alongside a team that genuinely loves the craft.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Supervise all day-to-day field construction activities to guarantee projects finish on schedule and within budget.
  • Enforce flawless quality control standards and strict safety practices across every square foot of the jobsite.
  • Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and monthly safety briefings to maintain alignment and momentum.
  • Examine contract drawings and architectural specifications early to identify design deficiencies and impractical details.
  • Review and approve subcontractor monthly payment requests, weekly as-built prints, and material vouchers.
  • Foster harmonious, high-performing working relationships among all onsite personnel, trade partners, and inspection agencies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of direct supervisory experience specifically within the building construction trades.
  • A combined total of 10 years of experience in building construction, remodeling, or project coordination.
  • Proven capability reading blueprints, interpreting complex design specifications, and performing project cost analysis.
  • High school graduation or equivalent GED completion.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat for daily field documentation and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • 5 or more years of dedicated experience overseeing high-end, design-forward custom residential or commercial builds.
  • College or vocational coursework in construction management, building construction, or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated track record of thriving as a self-started, creative problem solver in rapid construction environments.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive bi-monthly salary with performance bonuses and commission structures.
  • 401(k) retirement savings program featuring a company employer match after six (6) months of continuous employment.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Robust paid time off package covering observed holidays, vacation days, and sick leave.
  • Career development benefits including funded manufacturer, safety, fall protection, and lift certifications.
  • Technology package including a company-provided device for field logistics.
  • Company shirts provided by the company and an active employee referral bonus program.
