If you are a Project Management professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Shakopee, MN location, you will be a member of a collaborative product development group. You will have the opportunity to lead and coordinate activities with global technical teams to develop wireless infrastructure products and software applications that industrial customers use around the world.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Effectively coordinate team activities and provide leadership to the project team.
- Be responsible for delivering on the overall scope, objectives, schedule, and budget of the project and ensuring that customer and company quality requirements are satisfied.
- Identify, prioritize, and mitigate projectrisks and work with the team to create mitigation strategies
- Ensure team performance by leading, mentoring, training, motivating, and celebrating.
- Provide timely communication to stakeholders that include project updates and gate review presentations
- Participate in process improvement teams

For This Role, You Will Need:
BS Engineering or related technical discipline
Minimum - years related experience
Willingness to occasionally meet with global team members on off hours
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- PMI certification
- Experience with Microsoft Project and Azure Dev Ops
- Experience leading engineering project teams that developed new products
- Engineering experience designing new products
- Experience using Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
- Knowledge and use of NPD phase gate process
- Experience working with international teams
- Demonstrated use of Microsoft Applications (Word, PP, Excel)
- Excellent facilitation and persuasion skills
- Excellent presentation skills.
