Our primary goal is to help our customers obtain the State of California's approval to market and sell their lands to the public. We have a team of trained professionals who specialize in the DRE approval process, and we act as facilitators for customers who are required to obtain approvals from the California Department of Real Estate. As an Administrative Project Assistant, you will be pivotal in providing professional support throughout the various stages of land development and Department of Real Estate permitting. Responsibilities: * Serve as a key point of contact between developers, municipal governments, utility companies, and state agencies to move projects forward. * Conduct thorough property and regulatory research to identify project requirements and potential obstacles. * Own the integrity of project documentation by managing physical and digital filing systems, ensuring all records are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible. * Manage project timelines by maintaining master inventory logs, tracking multiple deadlines, and coordinating schedules for reviews and follow-ups. * Review and analyze technical documents, including maps, legal descriptions, and development plans, to ensure compliance. * Provide proactive support to Project Managers and other team members to ensure collective success. Actively contribute to the team on a daily basis to work towards achieving goals and objectives. Qualifications: Education: High School diploma required. A bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, and/or construction management is preferred. Experience: Two (2) years of directly related experience in a professional environment. Experience working with computers in an office setting is preferred. Knowledge of real estate, escrow, title, construction, engineering, and/or mapping is highly favored. Key Competencies: * Intermediate to advanced computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. * The ability to navigate online search engines and database functions is required. * Must have excellent verbal and written communication. * Professional appearance and phone etiquette. * Strong organizational skills. * Exceptional research skills. * A natural ability to be organized, multitask, manage competing priorities, and maintain an exceptional level of attention to detail.
