Logistics SpecialistKeep the Shop Ready. Keep the Field Moving.

Full-Time | On-Site | Overtime EligibleCompensation: $25/hour

The Opportunity

If you are the kind of person who sees a disorganized shop, an overdue vehicle repair, a missing material request, or an employee without the equipment they need—and immediately wants to fix it—this may be your role.

Mr. Electric of Clark County is looking for a hands-on Logistics Specialist to help keep our field operation organized, equipped, and ready to serve customers.

Your job is to make sure our Service Professionals and Installers have the materials, vehicles, tools, equipment, technology, and support they need—when they need it.

This isn't a desk-only Logistics role. You'll work in the shop, coordinate with vendors, manage materials and fleet needs, solve problems, support the field, and help build better systems as you go.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to step into meaningful responsibility, become a key part of the operation, and grow as the company continues to grow.

The goal is simple: keep the field ready to serve customers.

What You'll OwnMaterials & Purchasing

You'll manage material requests from start to finish—sourcing materials, coordinating orders and pickups, working with suppliers, communicating delays, and making sure requests don't disappear into a black hole.

You'll help ensure the field gets the right materials at the right time while using company purchasing resources responsibly.

Shop, Inventory, Van Stock & Company Assets

You'll help make sure the shop is organized, stocked, safe, and ready to support the field every day.

That includes:

Receiving, stocking, and organizing materialsMaintaining inventory controls and accurate stock levelsKeeping the shop clean, labeled, and easy to operate fromMaintaining standard van-stock levels and replenishmentKeeping vans organized to company standardsConducting regular van-stock and organization checksTracking tools, specialty equipment, ladders, trailers, iPads, and other company assetsManaging the assignment, return, repair, and replacement of company equipmentMaking sure tools and equipment are safe, functional, and available when needed

If something belongs to the company and supports the field, Logistics helps make sure it's where it belongs and ready to use.

Fleet & Vehicle Readiness

You'll help keep our vehicles on the road by coordinating preventative maintenance, repairs, tires, inspections, vendors, GPS and security equipment, vehicle records, and replacement-vehicle needs when necessary.

You'll proactively identify vehicle needs and help get problems addressed before they become bigger disruptions.

A major part of the job is reducing preventable vehicle downtime.

New-Hire Field Readiness

When a new Service Professional or Installer joins the team, you'll make sure they're ready to go.

That can include:

Welcome kitUniformsiPad and field technologyTools and safety equipmentKeys and company assetsVehicle assignmentStandard van stock and organization

The expectation is simple: when a new team member enters the field, Logistics has done its part to make them ready.

iPad & Field Technology Support

You'll be the first stop for basic iPad and field-technology issues.

You'll help troubleshoot common device, login, application, connectivity, and settings problems, coordinate replacement equipment when needed, and escalate more advanced issues to the appropriate support resource.

You don't need to be an IT expert. You do need to be comfortable with technology, willing to troubleshoot, and committed to helping get people back to work.

What Success Looks Like

You'll know you're succeeding when:

The field consistently has what it needs to work.Material requests are handled reliably and communicated clearly. The shop, inventory, vans, tools, and company assets are organized, accounted for, and ready to use.Vehicles are proactively maintained and avoidable downtime is reduced.New Service Professionals and Installers arrive in the field prepared.Problems get owned and solved instead of passed around.Who Will Thrive in This Role

We're looking for someone who:

Takes ownership. You notice what needs attention and take action.Creates order. You naturally organize spaces, information, inventory, and processes.Follows through. If you say you'll handle something, people can trust that it will get handled.Solves problems early. You'd rather prevent tomorrow's emergency than react to it.Can prioritize. Multiple people may need something at once, and you can determine what matters most.Communicates well. You're comfortable working with field employees, leadership, suppliers, and vendors. Can hold a standard. If someone isn't following an established shop or Logistics process, you're willing to respectfully address it.Is comfortable with technology. You can learn new systems and aren't intimidated by basic device troubleshooting.Likes supporting a team. You take pride in helping other people be successful.Experience We're Looking For

Experience in one or more of these areas is preferred:

LogisticsWarehouse or inventory operationsFleet coordinationPurchasing or materials coordinationParts or equipment managementField operationsConstruction or home services

Experience creating or improving operational processes is a plus.

Previous leadership experience is helpful but not required.

ServiceTitan experience is a plus.

You should also be comfortable using computers, tablets, mobile applications, and business software.

More than anything, we're looking for someone with the ownership, organization, follow-through, and judgment to grow into the opportunity.

Driving Requirements

This position requires:

A valid driver's licenseThe ability to meet company driving requirements and successfully complete a motor vehicle record checkThe ability to drive locally between company locations, suppliers, vehicle service facilities, and other business locations as neededPhysical & Work Requirements

This is a hands-on, on-site position that combines administrative work with shop, warehouse, vehicle, and Logistics responsibilities.

You should be able to:

Regularly move throughout shop, warehouse, and vehicle areasStand, walk, bend, and reach as required by the roleOccasionally lift, carry, push, or move up to 50 poundsEnter and exit company vehicles and access vehicle storage areasSafely operate company vehicles when authorizedPerform regular computer and tablet workBe forklift certified or able to obtain certification

Heavier materials or equipment may be handled using team lifting or appropriate material-handling equipment.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions of the position.

Ready to Step Up?

You may already be the person people count on to keep things organized, solve problems, and make sure things get done.

This is an opportunity to take that ability and apply it to a larger operation where your work directly affects the success of an entire field team.

We're looking for someone who can create order, maintain the standard, solve problems, and become someone our team can depend on.

If that sounds like the kind of responsibility you're ready for, we'd like to meet you.
