Through our portfolio of brands, including Connexity, ShopYourLikes, and Skimlinks, we partner with thousands of retailers, publishers, and creators to drive sales for major retailers globally.

We have an exciting opportuity for a QA Engineer, based in Los Angeles to join our Engineering team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Connexity's products, more specifically, our creator monetization platform, ShopYourLikes, through comprehensive testing and quality assurance practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about delivering high-quality software. They will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to identify issues early, improve test coverage, and help deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases and test suites.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web applications and services.
  • Help build, maintain, and expand automated testing frameworks and regression suites.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  • Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies to ensure quality is incorporated throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Analyze test results and communicate quality risks, issues, and recommendations to project stakeholders.
  • Support testing of APIs, backend services, and web applications.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in test processes, automation, and quality standards.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of production issues when needed.
  • Ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements and customer expectations.
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in software quality assurance.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Software Testing.
  • Experience testing web-based applications and mobile applications in a fast-paced software development environment.
  • Hands-on experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and regression testing.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and the ability to validate data across systems.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
  • Experience using defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms.
  • Basic experience working in Linux/Unix environments and using command-line tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience testing cloud-based or SaaS applications.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and quality practices within modern software delivery processes.
  • Experience with performance, load, or security testing tools.
  • Familiarity with AdTech, eCommerce, or digital marketing platforms.
  • Exposure to scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Bash.

OTE Pay Range

$110,000 - $125,000 USD

This position is hybrid, with 2 in-office days per week in our Santa Monica office.
