Description

Join our team as a Test Engineer to assist in testing advanced antenna prototypes and products. Your role will involve designing and reviewing data for automated tests, contributing to the transition of prototypes to full production. Test automation will be done using Python programming language with a combination of off-the-shelf and custom hardware. Analyzing data, providing recommendations, and ensuring the effectiveness of production test procedures will be key aspects of this role. This position requires creativity, critical thinking, and a high level of technical skill in an environment focused on efficient manufacturing. Our product line includes antennas for advanced radar and communications systems, serving both government and commercial clients.

Required Education and Experience

  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field
  • Experience in test plan development based on product specifications
  • Proficiency in test automation using various equipment
  • Experience with production test environments and optimizing test coverage
  • Programming skills in Python
  • Experience in testing devices operating at radio frequencies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Participated in requirement and design reviews
  • Ability to solve complex problems and work in a lab environment
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced setting

Preferred Education and Experience

  • 2-4 years of industry experience in electronic product testing
  • Familiarity with Military standards testing
  • Proficient in Python programming
  • Experience with electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Previous work in antenna testing, including radiation pattern measurements

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not involve direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

The job is based in a professional office and laboratory setting, using standard and specialized equipment for testing purposes.

Physical Demands

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with variable hours depending on workload and management discretion.

Travel
