Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As an RF electrical engineer for Tactical Communications, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for providing rapid prototype mission critical solutions to our customer community.

Duties and Tasks:

  • RF Design & Product Development:
    RF PCB schematic and layout design3D Electromagnetic design/analysis using tools such as Ansys HFSS, MomentumHands-on lab work optimizing and evaluating RF circuits using state of the art tools and test equipment.Design and evaluation of RF front ends, IF sections, filters, phase-locked loops, AGC loops, synthesizers, power amplifiers, etc...Gain line up specification and analysisDesign Automation Tools: ex. Keysight ADS, Cadence, Matlab, etc.
  • Substantial contribution to:Analysis and/or definition of electrical requirements, RF performance, components, and interfaces.Plans or leads root cause analysis of complex electrical issuesFormulating, evaluating, implementing solutions to technical issuesTechnical reviews of peer workEvaluation of vendor capability
  • Security clearance may be required.
