Summary:
-
Support investigations for FAA-related compliance issues (e.g., Letters of Investigation, Voluntary Disclosures, Airworthiness Non-Compliances)
-
Collaborate with engineering teams (Systems, Structures, Payloads, Propulsion) to define problems and perform root cause analysis (RCCA)
-
Assist in developing containment, corrective, and preventive actions, including verification of non-recurrence
-
Coordinate with internal teams, leadership, suppliers, and regulatory representatives (ODA)

Track and communicate investigation status and outcomes
-
Support continuous improvement of compliance processes and tools
-
Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate project execution
Requirements:
-
6+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
-
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and manage work independently

Must meet Export Control requirements
-
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools (e.g., 5-Whys, Fishbone)

Knowledge of FAA regulatory compliance and ODA procedures
-
Experience working with FAA or other regulatory agencies
-
Background in aircraft systems or systems integration (e.g., Flight Controls, Hydraulics, Avionics, Fuels)
-
Familiarity with aircraft certification and safety requirements
-
Pilot's License and/or A&P License
