Seafood processing Jobs in Everett, WA

Ivar's Restaurants, the premier seafood restaurant company in the Pacific Northwest, is now hiring experienced line cooks (grill, pantry, sauté, etc.) to work in the full-service kitchen of our Mukilteo location at 710 Front Street along the Mukilteo waterfront. Those hired will work mainly afternoon and evening shifts, and the pay will include an hourly wage between $21.00 and $25.00 plus a share of the tips from our generous guests.

Job requirements include:

• Preparing and cooking food items to company specifications
• Plating prepared foods based on chef's guidance
• Setting up, operating, breaking down, and cleaning kitchen equipment
• Assisting with washing dishes and sanitizing utensils when needed
• Upholding our high restaurant kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a pantry, grill, sauté, or fry cook in a high-volume kitchen (seafood experience a plus), and possess:

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
• A love for food and an eye for detail with cooking (knowing weights, measurements, and volumes)
• Ability to learn our restaurant menu and recipes and multi-task in a fast-paced teamwork environment
• Familiarity with cleaning and sanitizing chemicals
• Comfortable standing for extended periods of time, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and continuously bend, reach, and twist
• A current Washington State Food Handler Card (we can provide information on how to obtain one)
