This role supports multiple manufacturing sites and is open to candidates located near a Kellanova or Mars site, with approximately 30–50% travel, depending on business needs.

In this role, you will partner closely with cross‑functional teams and plant operations to drive process improvements, support capital execution, and improve performance across the network. You will build deep technical expertise while developing a broad internal network and contributing to innovation, supply chain effectiveness, and long‑term operational success.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Capital Project Leadership - Lead process engineering scope development and support capital projects from early concept through plant‑specific detailed design, applying safety standards and sound design principles throughout.
  • Process Performance Support - Partner with multiple manufacturing facilities to support process performance through documentation, analysis, troubleshooting, communication, and follow‑up.
  • Technical Expertise and Risk Management - Drive scope alignment, manage technical risks, leverage standard designs and global expertise, and support technology owners and project teams.
  • Process Optimization and Standards - Identify critical‑to‑process and critical‑to‑quality centerlines, develop sustainable deployment systems, and support KPIs and manufacturing work standards.
  • Best Practice Sharing and Innovation - Evaluate and advance new processing and equipment technologies, and share best practices to drive consistent operational excellence across plants, lines, and shifts.

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 4+ years of process engineering or capital project experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical experience
  • Experience leading engineering projects and working with cross‑functional project teams
  • Proven ability to influence partners and drive results in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to support multiple projects and manufacturing sites at the same time
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required by project needs

Compensation

The annual salary range is $103,700 - $136,080, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
