We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team and support the design, development, and improvement of mechanical components and systems. This role is ideal for early‑career engineers with hands-on SolidWorks experience who are excited to contribute to real-world engineering projects and grow professionally within a collaborative environment.

This role requires in-person support.

Duties:

  • Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Assist with mechanical design, prototyping, and testing activities.
  • Perform tolerance analysis, basic calculations, and design validation tasks.
  • Support senior engineers in developing new products and improving existing designs.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations as needed.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Required Experience:

  • 0–3 years of mechanical design experience (internships acceptable).
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (part modeling, assemblies, drawings).
  • Understanding of engineering fundamentals such as materials, mechanics, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with FEA tools (SolidWorks Simulation or similar).
  • Familiarity with GD&T principles.
  • Exposure to prototyping, machining, or manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of PDM systems.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
