Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to lead the development of cloud-agnostic platforms and support the accreditation of the platforms and software products to achieve an Authority to Operate (ATO). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and extensive experience in DevSecOps, cloud technologies, and compliance frameworks. This role requires a Master's degree with 10+ years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 18+ years of experience in relevant engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage cloud-agnostic platforms that meet enterprise and government requirements.
• Lead efforts to obtain and maintain ATO accreditation for software and platforms, ensuring compliance with federal security standards (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST, STIGs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement secure, scalable, and efficient platform solutions.
• Supervise, lead, and mentor engineering teams.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and compliance regulations to ensure platforms remain innovative and compliant.
• Oversee and support repeatable, reliable, and secure platform software tooling, frameworks, infrastructure, and integrations.
• Oversee site reliability of the platform and its services, including monitoring and alerting solutions, to ensure highly available platforms.
• Oversee and support CI / CD pipelines for automating infrastructure, software tooling, and deployment lifecycles.
