Folder/Gluer Operator – Folding Carton Packaging

High-End Retail Packaging | Career Growth | Modern Equipment | Excellent Work-Life Balance

A rapidly growing Folding Carton manufacturer with multiple plants across the United States is expanding production due to increased customer demand and major equipment investments. We are currently adding new shifts, installing additional equipment, and hiring both experienced Folder/Gluer Operators and mechanically inclined individuals eager to build a long-term career in packaging manufacturing.

If you’re looking for a stable company with modern equipment, strong leadership, advancement opportunities, and a culture that genuinely values its people, this is an opportunity worth exploring confidentially.

This position reports directly to the Converting Manager and plays a key role in producing premium folding carton packaging for nationally recognized brands across food & beverage, pharmaceutical, industrial, retail, and consumer packaging markets.

Why Operators Are Interested in This Company

  • Modern, expanding facilities with new equipment installations
  • Strong investment in Bobst converting technology
  • Low turnover and long-term employee retention
  • Stable essential-industry customer base
  • Supportive plant leadership focused on training and employee development
  • Work-life balance culture with optional overtime
  • Career advancement opportunities within the first year for motivated performers
  • Relocation assistance available for candidates seeking growth and additional training
  • Excellent benefits and extended paid time off
  • Regular performance reviews and pay progression
  • Team-oriented environment where operators are respected and supported
  • Multiple U.S. locations offering long-term career stability and growth

Whether you are already an experienced Folder/Gluer Operator or someone with strong mechanical aptitude looking to grow into the trade, this company invests heavily in training and promoting from within.

Position Responsibilities

  • Complete folder/gluer make-readies efficiently and safely
  • Operate folding/gluing equipment while maintaining high quality standards
  • Produce quality cartons for high-end retail and consumer packaging
  • Perform quality inspections throughout production runs
  • Work with Leary Gluing Systems and related inspection systems
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting
  • Communicate effectively with press, die-cutting, and finishing departments
  • Help support production goals while maintaining exceptional quality standards

Equipment Experience Preferred

Experience with any of the following equipment is highly valued:

Candidates with related converting, finishing, packaging, or mechanical production experience are also encouraged to apply.

What They’re Looking For

  • 1+ years of Folder/Gluer operating experience preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Quality-focused mindset
  • Team-oriented attitude
  • Desire to learn and grow within the company
  • Reliable work history and strong attendance

Compensation & Benefits

  • Highly competitive pay based on experience

  • Shift differentials available where applicable
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company contribution
  • Extended paid time off and holidays
  • Optional overtime opportunities
  • Relocation assistance for qualified candidates
  • Stable, long-term career path with advancement opportunities

Why Passive Candidates Take the Call

Many operators stay in roles for years because changing companies can feel risky. This opportunity stands out because the company is actively investing in its people, equipment, and future growth — not cutting back.

Operators who join here often stay because they find:

  • Better leadership
  • Cleaner operations
  • More modern equipment
  • Greater earning potential
  • Less burnout
  • More advancement opportunities
  • Better overall quality of life

Even if you’re not actively looking, it’s worth having a confidential conversation to compare your current opportunity, compensation, equipment, growth potential, and long-term stability against what this company offers.

Confidential inquiries are welcomed.
