The Role
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the core Acrobat Web team in Boston. This team partners closely with design, product, and engineering to build enterprise-grade web experiences used by millions of customers. You will work on meaningful projects, contribute to technical decisions, and help shape the future of Acrobat Web.
What You Will Do
Own and contribute to core features and services for Acrobat Web
Design and build accessible, user-focused web interfaces
Develop high-quality, scalable, and well-tested code
Participate in technical and architectural discussions
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers across teams
Use data, experimentation, and feedback to drive continuous improvement
Evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and development practices
What You Bring
Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
Experience with JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, ES6, or similar modern frameworks
4+ years of experience in front-end or full-stack web development
Familiarity with web performance, accessibility, and modern standards
Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in an agile environment
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and awareness of core web performance metrics
