Department Description

At Disney, we’re storytellers. We make the impossible, possible. The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) is a world-class entertainment and technological leader. Walt’s passion was to continuously envision new ways to move audiences around the world—a passion that remains our touchstone in an enterprise that stretches from theme parks, resorts and a cruise line to sports, news, movies and a variety of other businesses. Uniting each endeavor is a commitment to creating and delivering unforgettable experiences — and we’re constantly looking for new ways to enhance these exciting experiences.

The Enterprise Technology mission is to deliver technology solutions that align to business strategies while enabling enterprise efficiency and promoting cross-company collaborative innovation. Our group drives competitive advantage by enhancing our consumer experiences, enabling business growth, and advancing operational excellence.

  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable software solutions.

  • Lead code reviews, testing, and deployment of enterprise-grade features.

  • Align roadmaps and resolve delivery issues across teams and domains.

  • In partnership with the Sr. Manager, set the vision for Moveworks engineering strategy, balancing platform modernization with stability.

  • Champion agile delivery practices (Scrum, Kanban) to drive consistent, value-focused output.

  • Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues and architectural decisions.

  • Communicate technical progress, risks, and delivery status clearly to Technology Leadership, Product and business stakeholders.

  • Moveworks operate with high availability and a clear, prioritized engineering roadmap.

  • Offshore and nearshore managed service teams operate within defined SLAs with clear accountability, and consistent delivery quality.

  • Engineers on the team have documented growth plans and career development paths.

  • Product and People and Culture stakeholders view engineering as a reliable, innovative and technically credible delivery partner.

  • At least one platform initiative launched that measurably improves the employee experience.
