Primary location is Skyline Center for Health (2555 E 13th St, Loveland) and some floating to 5890 W 13th St. (Greeley). Could also float to Fort Collins location on rare occasion to support staffing needs (702 West Drake Rd, Fort Collins)
Shift Options: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
This position is responsible for assisting clinicians and nursing staff in providing medical care, as well as, implementing and evaluating direct patient care. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment and skills to provide an excellent patient experience.
Core functions include preparing patients for exams and treatment, assisting providers with exams and minor in-office procedures, coordinating and managing patient care, providing clerical support, maintaining a clean environment, ordering supplies, developing effective communication mechanisms, and completing necessary on-boarding/orientation activities.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge, completion of an approved medical assistant training program, active medical assistant certification, and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include experience with office medical procedures, knowledge of insurance, managed care operations, EMR, and scheduling software.
