Position Description:
The QA Testing Analyst III plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of applications throughout the development lifecycle. This position is responsible for analyzing business and technical requirements, developing test strategies, creating and executing test cases, and tracking defects through resolution.

This role is located at a client site in either Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The QA Testing Analyst III plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of applications throughout the development lifecycle. This position is responsible for analyzing business and technical requirements, developing test strategies, creating and executing test cases, and tracking defects through resolution.
The role involves working closely with development and data teams, particularly in cloud and data-driven environments, to validate complex systems and integrations. The analyst may also support end-user training and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes within an Agile framework.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. 5+ years of relevant professional experience in QA testing or a related field
. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as RDS, Redshift, S3, Lambda, and data sharing tools
. Strong SQL skills, especially for querying and validating large datasets
. Experience working with JSON files for data validation and testing
. Solid background in API and ETL testing
. Familiarity with test automation, preferably using Python-based frameworks
. Exposure to Big Data environments and data validation techniques
. Ability to analyze data thoroughly and identify inconsistencies or risks early
. Comfortable working within Agile SDLC environments
. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
. Proven ability to think critically and solve complex problems
. Experience leading testing efforts or contributing to project leadership
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
