Locums Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician in California - No Deliveries, Two-Weeks Monthly

Step into a consultation-focused MFM role where sonographers complete the scans before your review, allowing you to concentrate on maternal assessment and care planning.

Highlights

• No deliveries required
• Two weeks of coverage per month
• Long-term commitment of at least six months
• 8-10 patients per day

Practice & Cases

• Outpatient Maternal Fetal Medicine across multiple California locations
• Sonographer-led scans followed by physician review and patient consultation
• RN, MA, and sonographer clinical support
• Cerclage capability preferred but not required

Schedule

• Monday through Friday coverage
• Approximately one week on and one week off per location
• Multi-site coverage may overlap around higher-need periods
• No current call requirement

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Active California medical license required
• PALS required

Logistics

• Airfare and lodging covered
• Rental car and mileage covered
