Job description

HR Data Analyst

Aras is a leader in product lifecycle management (PLM) and digital thread solutions. As one of the fastest growing PLM companies, our technology enables the rapid delivery of flexible solutions built on a powerful digital thread backbone and a low-code development platform.

Our platform and PLM applications connect users in all disciplines to critical product data and processes across the lifecycle and throughout the extended supply chain. The world's largest manufacturers are leveraging Aras Innovator to manage their complex product lifecycles to improve production timelines, meet and exceed revenue growth targets, and accelerate innovation. We collaborate with companies in some of the most innovative industries, including automotive, industrial/heavy equipment, aerospace and defense, and high-tech electronics.

Role Overview

The HR Data Analyst performs hands-on workforce analytics and produces dashboards and reports to support HR and leadership decision-making. This role conducts recurring and ad-hoc analysis across core HR metrics, with a strong focus on data accuracy, consistency, and governance. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to clearly communicate insights through clear, reliable reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports analyzing HR data (e.g., headcount, turnover, recruiting, performance) to support HR and leadership decision-making
  • Identify trends and deliver insights related to employee retention, engagement, and productivity
  • Standardize and streamline HR data collection processes to improve efficiency and data quality
  • Partner with regional HR teams to ensure data integrity across HR systems and reporting tools
  • Collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure consistent data definitions and generate insights that improve sourcing strategies and hiring outcomes
  • Support the development and maintenance of predictive models (e.g., turnover risk, hiring success) under guidance from the Head of Total Rewards
  • Document HR data processes, metric definitions, and reporting standards to ensure consistency across dashboards and leadership reports
  • Present findings and recommendations to HR leadership in a clear, actionable manner
  • Work closely with People Operations to validate data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure reliable end-to-end HR data flows

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 4 7 years of experience in HR analytics, data analysis, or a related analytical role
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Strong experience analyzing HR data and metrics across areas such as headcount, recruiting, turnover, and performance
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience building dashboards and reports using BI or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems and reports
  • Ability to manage sensitive workforce and employee data confidentially
  • Ability to clearly communicate data insights and findings to HR and business stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, or similar systems)
  • Exposure to predictive or trend-based analysis (e.g., turnover risk, hiring outcomes)
  • Familiarity with data governance practices, metric definitions, and documentation standards
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional HR teams (e.g., Recruiting, People Operations, Total Rewards)
  • Comfort collaborating with Finance and IT departments
  • Prior experience supporting a global or multi-regional workforce
