Job description

Healthcare Recruiter

It is the perfect time to join the thriving UK HealthCare team. Due to the exponential growth and future projected growth of UK HealthCare, we are searching for an experienced professional to serve as a Healthcare Recruiter. This position will be key in finding talent for our world-class health system that reflects our values of innovation, respect, compassion, and teamwork.

The Healthcare Recruiter will work with key stakeholders to develop and implement creative recruitment strategies to attract quality healthcare professionals for key positions throughout UK HealthCare. Recruitment strategies include direct outreach to potential candidates (e.g. emails, calls, etc.), leveraging social media tools and resources, and networking with professional associations. Building and maintaining high touch communication with identified talent and creating a candidate database of high potential/qualified individuals is a core function for this role.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct phone screens and informational interviews to develop professional rapport with candidates while assessing candidate's skill set and how it might best match UK HealthCare's needs.
  • Effectively promote the university's total compensation, the University itself, and the Bluegrass region.
  • Solicit feedback from applicants who accept/reject job offers to assess overall candidate experience and better understanding key deciding factors.
  • Conduct market research to understand where external talent pools exist and strategize on how best to maximize our outreach efforts.
  • Develop networking relationships with local, state, and national source agencies such as Chamber of Commerce, professional organizations, colleges/universities, as well as social media groups.
  • Research and attend career fair opportunities that strategically meet the identified recruiting needs.
  • Participate in recruitment events and represent UK HealthCare within the community.
  • Cultivate community partnerships to promote healthcare job opportunities and create outreach programing based on hiring needs.
  • Track all recruitment and outreach efforts and metrics.

The ideal candidate will possess strong recruitment and relationship management skills, have a strategic, innovative, and entrepreneur mindset, enjoy networking and collaboration, as well as have a high-level of professionalism.

Experience as a Talent Acquisition or Healthcare Recruiter. Three or more years of experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS), candidate relationship management (CRM) platforms, and recruitment analytics tools.
