About The Smith

The Smith is an extremely popular casual neighborhood brasserie – in fact, several of our locations are among the Top 100 busiest restaurants in the US! The menu features bistro classics, seasonal fare, and craft cocktails. Our signature lively atmosphere makes The Smith a versatile setting for an after-work bite, drinks on the town, a birthday bash, a working lunch, a bountiful brunch, or an I-don’t-want-to-cook-tonight night.

The Position: Server

• Serve all Smith guests by being attentive through the entire length of their meal.
• Create a welcoming environment for guests.
• Say yes! Always try to find a way to accommodate a request.
• Guide guests through their experience by offering specials, recommending cocktails, and providing suggestions
• Pay special attention to all dietary restrictions by informing the kitchen
• Observe the entire dining experience ensuring that every meal and every moment exceeds expectations.
• Take orders from guests and input them into the point of sale.
• List ingredients or common allergens for guests from memory
