Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Initial duties will consist of:

  • Assist with deployment of ServiceNow to automate or replace existing HR and IT processes
  • Maintain company intranet (HTML and SharePoint) and public website (DNN)
  • Resolving support tickets relating to assigned areas
  • Work with internal customers and IT Business Analysts to define software requirements based on end goals and customer needs
  • Document system interfaces and architecture for internal IT reference
  • Create end user documentation as needed

As ServiceNow deployment is completed, ServiceNow development is expected to slow down and this role will begin assisting in other development areas, including:

  • SharePoint maintenance, design, development, and integration
  • Report and dashboard development using on-prem and cloud Microsoft tools (Transact SQL, SSIS and/or ADF, SSRS, SSAS/DAX, PowerBI)
  • Software design, development, and maintenance of existing applications
  • Anticipate potential issues and test software to ensure consistent quality, including .NET and other full stack applications
  • Recommend improvements to software components and system architecture
  • Provide technical support and administration of application software

Requirements

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years’ experience with ServiceNow HR Case Management and IT Service Management, including developing automated forms and workflows, Helpdesk features, Asset Management, CMDB, and Change Management.
  • 1+ years’ experience with SharePoint administration and HTML
  • 2+ years’ experience developing in an agile environment. Specifically, the ability to define, scope, and complete user stories to effectively and consistently deliver MVP functionality
  • Ability to understand how business processes impact software requirements and translate that understanding into user friendly software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work well with both technical and non-technical customers at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently and consistently track projects to completion, staying within the agreed scope and delivery schedule
  • High integrity and experience with handling sensitive data, such as PII and other HR-related information
  • Experience using software configuration/change management systems such as Atlassian/Jira/BitBucket in a team environment

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience developing in other areas is a strong plus, including Microsoft SQL Server database (Transact SQL, SSIS and/or ADF, SSRS, SSAS/DAX, PowerBI, and other reporting environments)SharePoint development and/or MS Teams integration.Custom web applications in Blazor, .NET, C#, JavaScript, or similar programming languages
  • Experience with design and development in DNN or similar content management platforms
  • Experience developing software for a secure environment
