Responsibilities include but are not limited too: Develop programs utilizing CAM software for machines to produce customer parts and internal toolingRun programming simulations and modify as neededInterpret drawings and product models to make modifications/improvements for in-process tooling, fixtures, and gauges using computer-aided design software applicationsConduct quality tests to ensure products meet quality standards and make adjustments as neededCreate and maintain accurate records of programming, set-up sheets, and tooling information.Collaborate with cross-functional teams through providing technical support and project updatesRecommend design changes to the customers parts to aid design for manufacturabilityProvide training support on programming and machinery operationSubmit purchase requisitions for outsourced mechanical components and toolingEnsure compliance with current CAD/CAM standards to provide quality designAdhere to all safety practices and support safety related activities Skills: Minimum of 5 years experience in 5-Axis CNC programming in a manufacturing and machining environment, 10+ years experience overall preferredAbility to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints & schematics to develop machinery programmingBasic computer skills and programming knowledgeUnderstanding of machining properties of various raw materialsAbility to stand, sit, move about the facility, and/or lift up to 35lbs during scheduled work hours Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey technical information clearly. What you bring: Safety Mindset:Consistent usage of required PPE and safety procedures for tasks being performed.Experience: Demonstrated longevity of at least eight consecutive months in previous employment.
