Conduct and manage inspections and condition assessments of existing structures, producing thorough technical reports with actionable recommendations. Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects, including site-civil design, surveying, geotechnical engineering, and permitting, as well as outside architectural and mechanical / electrical / plumbing firms. Contribute to project management, client communication, and proposal preparation to support business development. A bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis from an ABET-accredited institution (M.S. preferred). Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire. At least 4 years of experience in structural analysis and design, ideally with buildings and / or waterfront structures. Proficiency with structural analysis software (e.g., RISA 3D, SAP) and AutoCAD. Revit experience a plus. A strong understanding of structural loads, load paths, relevant design codes / standards, and construction practices. Experience with structural steel, concrete, wood, and masonry design. Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills. A collaborative approach to project work and a desire to mentor junior team members. Willingness to travel occasionally for fieldwork and client meetings. A valid U.S. drivers license, a good driving record, and vehicle insurance. Permanent authorization to work in the United States without need for employer sponsorship.
