This role offers the flexibility of remote work while collaborating closely with a team operating primarily in the Pacific and Central time zones. POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Junior Structural Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to support structural design, analysis, and project coordination across multiple projects. This role will work closely with senior engineers and architects to ensure structural systems are designed accurately and meet project requirements.
The ideal candidate will bring strong foundational engineering knowledge, attention to detail, and a desire to continue developing their expertise within a collaborative design environment. WHAT YOU’LL DO : Assist with structural analysis and design for a variety of building projects Support development of structural calculations, drawings, and specifications Coordinate structural systems with architectural and engineering teams Help ensure project documentation meets applicable building codes and standards Assist with preparation of construction documentation and technical details Collaborate with senior engineers to support project development and problem solving Participate in project coordination meetings and internal design reviews REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field 3 to 5 years of structural engineering experience Engineer In Training certification preferred Alaska engineering licensure or willingness to pursue Alaska licensure with company assistance Ability to pass a cold climate structural design evaluation related to Alaska conditions Strong understanding of structural fundamentals and building systems Ability to collaborate effectively within a remote team environment BENEFITS :
