Structural Design Engineer - Water / Wastewater Structures

Wilson Engineers is an Arizona-based firm with a staff of more than 210 personnel specializing in water and wastewater engineering and construction management services. We are dedicated to delivering ethical, reliable, high quality services to our clients based on innovation, while sustaining a challenging and rewarding work environment for our greatest assets, our employees.
We are seeking a Structural Design Engineer to design Water / Wastewater Structures to join our team. This position requires 40 hours per week in our Tempe office. (This job is not remote nor hybrid.)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed structural design, analysis, engineering calculations, and assist in the development of construction drawings and specifications for Water / Wastewater projects
- Conduct structural investigations and assist in the preparation of reports and cost estimates
- Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
- Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables
- Work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects
- Give direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed
