  • Process all inbound and outbound shipments, including sorting, logging, delivering, packing, and shipping materials.
  • Audit each shipment prior to packing to confirm that goods match the order and meet quality standards.
  • Inspect all incoming freight for damage and follow up with purchasing to resolve any damaged freight issues.
  • Provide training and certification for all forklift drivers as a train-the-trainer certified leader.
  • Lead special projects that are critical to warehouse support functions and continuous operational improvement.

  • Strong attention to detail when auditing shipments and inspecting freight for damage.
  • Leadership and supervision skills to direct warehouse staff and coordinate daily activities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse inventory control within a manufacturing or distribution setting.
  • Train-the-trainer certification or equivalent qualification to test and certify forklift drivers.
  • Experience leading special projects or initiatives related to warehouse support functions.
  • Comfort with data analysis related to facility layout, process flow, and inventory control.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with purchasing and other internal departments to resolve freight and inventory issues.
