The Opportunity:

We are seeking a flexible, proactive, and detail-oriented Engineer or Scientist with a passion for analytics and a commitment to delivering high-quality products under government direction.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to technical analysis in support of government-led assessments of Integrated Combat Systems and Weapons Systems across warfare areas including Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), Surface Warfare (SUW), Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD), Strike, Area Defense, Self-Defense and Point Defense areas. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities may shift and processes are still evolving—requiring adaptability, clear documentation, and a strong sense of initiative.

The ideal candidate has a foundation in MATLAB or Python, strong analytical skills, and is eager to learn and tackle complex problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Interpretation: Assist in analyzing data from Defense and Integrated Combat Systems training, testing, and evaluation events to identify trends in system performance. Collaborate with senior analysts to analyze system data. Basic understanding of radar principles is a plus but not required: Including how radar systems transmit and receive signals, and the relationship between these signals and target detection.

  • Scripting & Automation: Support the development and maintenance of automated scripts using MATLAB or Python to streamline data extraction, cleaning, and transformation. Training and mentorship will be provided.

  • Technical Reporting: Prepare draft technical inputs, summaries, and visual presentations that support government-led reports and briefings.

  • Communication & Presentation: Convey analysis inputs to government analysts and government leads.

  • Collaboration: Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, sharing knowledge and collaborating with government and contractor team members as directed.

  • Process Improvement: Support refinement and documentation of data analysis workflows, documentation, and reporting processes under government direction.

  • Continuous Learning: Proactively expand your understanding of Defense and Integrated Combat System, analytical tools, and related technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance.

  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.

  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule during test events and surge periods.

  • Capable of working in stationary positions (sitting or standing) for extended periods.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Must be willing to work on site in Norco, California.

  • Working knowledge of MATLAB or Python; coursework or personal projects are great.

  • Experience or familiarity with tool verification and validation practices.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Familiarity with core data analysis techniques and visualization tools.

  • Quick to learn new systems, tools, and technical domains.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
