Job description

About Prime Data Centers

Prime Data Centers develops, acquires, and operates data centers for some of the world's largest enterprises. A private firm owned by a group controlling $6 billion in assets, with a 15-year tenure in technology and real estate development, Prime provides customers with ownership options and dynamic leasing models, defining a true corporate partnership.

About the role
The Project Controls Manager will ensure that all Prime Data Centers projects and suppliers adhere to Prime’s scheduling and reporting requirements. The role provides governance, consistency, and data-driven insights across multiple projects, with a core focus on Primavera P6 scheduling and Power BI reporting. The Manager must be proficient in designing and adapting reports in Power BI, while also bringing familiarity with other reporting platforms to strengthen Prime’s reporting framework.

What you'll do

Scheduling Governance

  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in Primavera P6, aligned to Prime’s Employer’s Requirements.
  • Audit supplier schedules (L1–L4) for logic, float, resources, and compliance with Prime’s standards.
  • Ensure schedules are provided in native P6 (.xer) format for integration into Prime’s master programme.

Reporting & Data Analytics

  • Design, adapt, and generate new Power BI reports based on Prime’s reporting framework and supplier data sets.
  • Work with raw contractor data (cost, schedule, risk) to create clear, interactive dashboards for decision-making.
  • Maintain and evolve Prime’s suite of reporting dashboards, ensuring consistency and scalability.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with other reporting/analytics tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Primavera Analytics, advanced MS Excel, SQL reporting) to complement Prime’s Power BI environment.

Cost & Forecasting

  • Provide earned value analysis, cash flow forecasting, and cost performance reporting.
  • Integrate schedule and financial data to support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles.

Supplier Oversight & Compliance

  • Enforce supplier compliance with Prime’s reporting and scheduling requirements.
  • Review and validate supplier reports, highlighting non-compliance and driving corrective action.
  • Ensure supplier data formats are compatible with Prime’s reporting systems.

Risk & Change Management

  • Support risk modelling, change impact analysis, and scenario planning within P6 and BI tools.
  • Provide quantified insights on risks and changes to project leadership.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Power BI skills – report design, dashboard development, DAX formulas, data modelling, and ETL/data shaping.
  • Familiarity with other reporting and analytics platforms (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, SQL-based tools, Primavera Analytics, advanced MS Excel).
  • Strong scheduling expertise in Primavera P6.
  • Knowledge of earned value management (EVM), forecasting, and risk reporting.
  • Ability to enforce project controls standards with contractors and suppliers.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement, with confidence to challenge and influence.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, proactive problem solver.
  • Degree in Project Management, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience in project controls with demonstrated expertise in Primavera P6 scheduling.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering Power BI and multi-platform reports.
  • Experience managing supplier reporting compliance.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range ($105-$115K) and performance bonus program
  • Dollar-for-dollar 401k match up to a 4% employer match which fully vested upon enrollment
  • 100% employee premiums paid by employer for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability
  • Over 4-weeks of Paid Time Off + Sick time

Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
