THE OPPORTUNITY AT HAND
We’re looking for a Technical Coordinator to help manage the patient flow in our office. Someone who is comfortable providing white glove service to our providers and patients, while ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
OUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOU
- You’ll test and record patient's far acuity, near acuity, peripheral vision, depth perception, and color perception
- You’ll apply drops to anesthetize, dilate, or medicate eyes and collect and process specimens for testing
- You’ll triage emergency cases appropriately into physician’s schedule and maintain patient flow
- You’ll prepare patient and procedure room and assist ophthalmologist with procedures as needed
- You’ll perform first level maintenance on ophthalmic equipment and notify the office manager of any equipment malfunctions
- You’ll report issues, concerns, and team successes to the office manager, as well as contribute to training, and communicate variances in employee schedules
- You will be expected to utilize, as appropriate, infection control techniques and universal precautions, and to maintain confidentiality at all times
