Technical Specialist
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team player to join our Strategic Resolution Group Claim team as a Technical Specialist handling complex toxic tort, latent injury, sexual misconduct and/or environmental claims that may present significant financial exposures. With general supervision, you will manage moderate to large exposure claims with complex liability and coverage issues, with the goal of developing strategies to ensure that claims are successfully resolved in the most efficient and effective way while meeting established protocols and delivering optimal customer service. As you meet the challenges of an ever-changing litigation landscape, you will maintain and develop a strong understanding of applicable law in multiple jurisdictions enhancing your ability to successfully manage complex coverage and liability issues.
Education & Work Experience: Bachelor's degree. 3+ years of experience in claim handling, legal, insurance or coverage advice or environmental fields. Job specific or technical competencies: Analytical Thinking. Communication. Judgment & Decision-Making. Teamwork. Accountability. Customer Focus. Relationship Management. Business Perspective.
