RN Program Manager

Intermountain Hospital is looking for a dynamic RN Program Manager. The RN Program Manager assumes responsibility for facility operations during the assigned shifts. This includes supervising nursing and clinical staff, ensuring that patient care is provided in an accurate and timely manner. This position has responsibility for the supervision of care of patients ranging in age from age twelve through geriatrics. This Program Manager position is over New Start, Journeys and East.

Full Time days Monday through Friday (Can be either 4 10-hour days or 5 8-hour days)

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's degree in nursing required.

Experience : Minimum of three (3) years of RN nursing experience.

Licensure : Currently licensed to practice by the Idaho State Board of Nursing.

Additional Requirements : CPR certification. Thorough knowledge of JCAHO / HCFA, OSHA, state and federal regulatory requirements preferred.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE Leadership 1. Ensure that a system is developed to provide continuity of care and communication with patients. 2. Ensure that all staff members deliver care in accordance with the Standards of Care and Practice. 3. Implement program policies and procedures and acts as a resource to the staff. 4. Ensure the program complies with JCAHO, HCFA, state and patients rights regulatory standards. 5. Conduct and maintain records of monthly program meetings. 6. Assign staff according to patient needs and document assignments per unit documentation forms. 7. Evaluate program effectiveness and formulate plans for improvement. 8. Develop staffing schedules in accordance with patient needs.
