Senior Program Manager wanted by Kenco Management Services LLC in Chattanooga TN to drive strategic alignment across business units to succeed against company-wide goals as it relates to the portfolio. Provide analysis and thought leadership on issues critical to the success of the portfolios strategic goals. Apply specialized knowledge of industry standards / practices (e.g. conveyors AGVs ASRS etc.) to programs and initiatives. Develop project plans specifying strategy technical scope goals objectives maintaining budgets staffing scheduling contingency plans and allocation of available resources. Coordinate project activities with Marketing Sales Engineering Operations Customer Support and client staff to ensure goals and requirements are met. Engage and successfully manage Cross-functional Teams. Manage train and lead direct report(s) assessing performance setting goals and performing personnel actions. Develop and implement effective communication plans both internal to Kenco and external with customer. Manage risk and issues and mitigation efforts as appropriate. Use innovative problem solving and critical thinking approaches to proactively solve a broad range of problems across projects. Identify and / or maintain metrics that drive and measure program project and team performance. Identify opportunities to streamline automate and / or improve project management processes to reduce cost and improve customer satisfaction. Manage and reconcile a detailed project budget. Perform analytics to determine viability and ROI on efficiency and automation projects. Prepare present gap analysis report and go forward plans at the end of projects. Set milestones and report status to management and external customers. Assist with complex new business transition proposal responses and new business budget development within the portfolio. Serve as a mentor and trainer role for all new project managers. Employee will lead the Kenco MCS (Multi Client Site) site implementation comprised of different industry clients sharing warehouse space labor and infrastructure in the same building and will also lead Kencos E-commerce Strategic initiative through the AutoStore installation an automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) which uses warehouse robots for order fulfillment. Coordinate with multiple vendors including general contractors and low-volt network installers to keep projects in scope on-time and on-budget. Coordinate customized automation design and system integration hosts weekly meetings with customers for automation products responsible for all new customers moving to ecommerce platform and development of project plans and budgets. Customers include wide range of businesses operating in the retail Food FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) and warehouse industries. Remote work available from anywhere in US. POSITION REQUIREMENTS : Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering Supply Chain Management or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required. Work experience must include : 1) Work with product / program / project management or third-party logistics environment; 2) Knowledge of WMS YMS LMS Tier 1 Systems (SAP Red Prairie Manhattan); 3) Layout drawings in a CAD environment.
