The Opportunity

As part of PwC’s Scaled Engineering Services practice, you will contribute to delivering reliable, scalable, and cost-effective technology solutions that enable operational excellence and business agility. Our teams apply deep technical expertise and a strong service-oriented mindset to support the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-grade IT systems and applications. In this capacity, you will help lead and coordinate end-to-end execution of technology initiatives-driving disciplined project planning, proactive stakeholder communication, and consistent service delivery across cross-functional engineering teams.

As a Program Manager, you will lead the charge in driving software and product innovation within our Advisory practice. You will be at the forefront of managing engagement team supportteamsutilizing your skills in software engineering to deliver exceptional solutions. As a Manager, you will guide and mentor teams, leveraging your strategic planning abilities to oversee engagement team accounts and projects. You will play a pivotal role in fostering leadership development and coaching, while maintaining integrity and authenticity in all interactions.

In this role, you will engage with diverse technologies enhancing your technical acumen and contributing to the success of our Technology Consulting network. You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and improving processes to meet engagement team objectives. By embracing innovation and technology, you will inspire your team to deliver quality outcomes, while identifying opportunities for growth and development. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can expand your skills and make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead software engineering projects within the Software and Product Innovation group, overseeing planning, execution, and delivery in alignment with business requirements and engagement team support.

  • Oversee software project planning activities, develop project plans, and manage the full project lifecycle to drive impactful outcomes.

  • Guide teams through complex technical challenges whileconfirmingalignment with client needs and managed services objectives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define and prioritize product features, analyze business processes, and identify technology-enabled improvements.

  • Oversee the development and integration of enterprise applications using platforms such as Appian, Mendix, and OutSystems.

  • Demonstrates experienceworking with engineersutilizingprogramming languages such as Java, Python,SQL, .NETand C# to develop and maintain scalable software solutions, including microservices architecture.

  • Guide teams in the application of Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD), Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and application development frameworks to enhance quality, speed, and functionality.

  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and troubleshoot technical challenges to improve software performance and consistency.

  • Coach and mentor junior staff to strengthen team capabilities and promote adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies.

  • Support engagement team management by addressing feedback and driving continuous improvement in software development practices.

  • Understandand leverage Knowledge in AI and emerging technologies

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree or, in lieu of a degree, demonstrating in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in Engineering Program Management for each missing year of college is required

- At least 12 years of experience

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $114,000 - $132,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
