About the TeamVIZIO Technical Project Management is looking for a proactive and forward-thinking Technical Program Manager to deliver valuable features on time and within scope.
What You Will Do
- Communicate: build relationships with our product team, our software engineering teams, and our EPMO group to foster clear and effective communication.
- Organize: help engineering teams provide consistent story points, timelines, and delivery schedules that can be shared with stakeholders.
- Lead: be a point of contact for inbound and outbound communications on status, change requests, blockers, deployments, and know who is working on what.
- Plan: assist with quarterly roadmap planning by assessing in-flight projects with new feature asks, and coordinate delivery timelines between product and engineering.
- Predict: identify risks, blockers, and other potential issues and communicate them efficiently to enable fast resolution.
- Follow Through: help us validate, deploy, and monitor
- Data Management: conduct data analysis to deliver insights for Engineering Managers on team velocity and other metrics.
About You
- BS degree in Engineering or Computer science or relevant job experience
- 1-3 years of project management in software development
- Experience driving multi-functional efforts across technical fields
- Outstanding communication skills both verbally and written
- Sound technical foundation
- Self-starting, hard-working, and organized
- Knowledge of software engineering methodologies, dependencies, common SDLCs
- Atlassian/PM software experience
- Great interpersonal skills
