Summary:
-
Leads the aircraft delivery process for specific aircraft as defined from time to time.
-
Acts as the Designated Representative for aircraft undergoing maintenance and preparatory work for delivery to a customer.

Represents the company and provides instruction, direction, and authorization related to work on the aircraft with designated MRO provider.

Ensures aircraft is completed on schedule and delivered to the customer in compliance with required delivery conditions including maintenance status and technical documentation.

Maintains budget oversight over works being performed and scrutinizes performance of suppliers, including providing authorization for additional works within scope of delegated authority.

Provides in-depth analysis of technical data with respect to commercial aircraft airframe products and associated systems, covering technical and operational data, configuration manuals and records, maintenance records, and repairs.

Reviews cost and schedule estimates from third party maintenance organizations and coordinates related company and technical activities.

Supports design, repair development, and repair sourcing and assessment activities.

Evaluates Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins to support pre and post-buy activities and assesses impact to sales, leasing, and operational opportunities.

Provides post-sale and post-lease support to external customers via sales team to answer technical questions, research and obtain technical data, and supply customer required documentation.
Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
-
Bachelor's degree, diploma, or FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license, or equivalent field experience.

5+ years of experience performing airframe product technical management.

Strong generalist knowledge in commercial aircraft technical management.

Demonstrable knowledge of all records and regulatory requirements for airframe products.

Specialized knowledge of back-to-birth trace for all life-limited parts.
-
Working expertise with FAA regulations, ATA standards, and EASA regulations.

Substantial experience supporting and navigating cross-functional teams.

Strong proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel, and leveraging technology to enhance work processes in compliance with industry requirements.

Ability to evaluate cost estimates, coordinate technical activities, and support design and repair development.
