The Industry 4.0 Delivery Manager leads the deployment, integration, and sustainment of digital technologies that improve manufacturing efficiency, data visibility, system reliability, and operator experience. This role drives Smart Factory initiatives, oversees MES performance across sites, supports digital resiliency efforts, and ensures the technology ecosystem enables safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production operations.

What You Will Do
- Lead Smart Factory initiatives to establish the foundation for a highly automated, lights‑out manufacturing environment. Drive technology implementations that generate actionable data, reduce days‑to‑manufacture, lower non‑conformance, and minimize WIP. Initiatives include smart‑tool integration via Kepware, RTLS deployment, MES implementation, installation of vision systems, and improving operator digital interfaces for consistent and intuitive transactions.
- Drive the Digital Resiliency initiative by identifying and eliminating recurring digital issues that cause operational downtime. Coordinate cross‑functional problem resolution by partnering with internal support organizations. Ensure uninterrupted production by proactively identifying, escalating, and resolving computer, network, and system‑related issues that may impact operational continuity.
- Develop and implement a standardized new‑hire onboarding process to ensure factory employees receive required system permissions by Day 2 and complete training in critical applications by the end of their first week. Collaborate with IT, HR, training, and operations leaders to streamline access and ensure new hires reach productivity quickly and consistently.
- Supervise and support a cross‑site team responsible for addressing all Manufacturing Execution System (MES) issues. Advocate for system enhancements and lead the implementation of improvements to ensure stability, efficiency, and alignment with operational needs across locations.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- 4 years of experience within a Manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS)
- Smart Factory/Industry 4.0 Implementation experience
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
Qualifications We Prefer
- Knowledge of Solumnia or Wonderware
- Experience with SAP
- Understanding of Smart-Tool integrations, data systems, vision systems, and plant-floor technologies.
- Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization; from operators to senior leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to system reliability, downtime reduction, and digital performance.
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional IT and support teams.
